We Are Mary tells the frank, heart-wrenching story of a woman who has suffered from Multiple Personality Disorder during most of her adult life. This inspiring documentary explores the resilience of the human spirit, chronicling Mary's triumph over her past trauma, as she works towards her life-long goal: a college degree. Breaking with the convention of the talking-head documentary, this film relies on Mary's own recollections (and those of her adult daughter, Tammie) to tell her story.
